ACE Insurance Philadelphia HQ

PHILADELPHIA, PA - GreenShape provided sustainability consulting services to support achievement of LEED for Operations and Maintenance certification for ACE Insurance offices, located in a historic building. The project implemented employee incentives for alternative commuting transportation and sustainable purchasing policies for consumable goods, durable goods, and cleaning products to reduce the environmental impacts of their business operations. The building earned LEED O&M Silver in 2009.

601 New Jersey Ave.

WASHINGTON, DC - GreenShape conducted a sustainability assessment under the LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance rating system for 601 New Jersey Avenue, a multi-tenant office building in Washington DC. GreenShape provided initial technical guidance and project management support to develop LEED compliant programs, policies, and performance tracking tools. The project achieved LEED O+M Certification at the Gold level for Existing Buildings (v2009) in 2011.

PEPCO Edison Place

PEPCO Edison Place

WASHINGTON, DC - Edison Place is the headquarters of PEPCO, the local utility company, and is managed by Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers. The Edison Place LEED OM project is the first in a portfolio-wide initiative by Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers to certify all of their managed properties through the LEED rating system. In June of 2009, Edison Place became the first building in Washington, DC to achieve LEED for Operations and Maintenance certification.

US Dept. of Treasury Headquarters

US Dept. of Treasury Headquarters

WASHINGTON, DC - GreenShape guided a very dedicated and persistent in-house project team at the U.S. Department of the Treasury to balance sustainability in a highly secure environment. The project team reduced the use of potable water for irrigation by over 93% and diverted over 90% of waste from landfill. Built between 1836 and 1869, this historic structure became the oldest building to achieve LEED Gold certification upon award in 2011.
