Army Public Health Command LabABERDEEN, MD - This high performance, occupational and environmental health, laboratory facility for the USACE is targeting LEED Silver. Sustainable strategies employed on the Project include protecting over 76% of the site as open space and use of energy saving mechanical strategies such as active chilled beams and a solar hot water system. The Project has also utilized LABS 21 air effluent management strategies to minimize the negative impact of laboratory exhausts on site and neighbors. | Procter and GambleGLOBAL - Ms. Rivera provided LEED and sustainable design consulting services to Procter & Gamble for over 20 projects around the world. She led P&G through a collaborative process to confirm their energy intensive manufacturing facilities could achieve LEED certification. Work included feasibility studies, development of LEED strategies, and serving as owner’s representative on the LEED User Group: Industrial Facilities and projects to provide support and peer review for LEED efforts globally. |
